According to The Daily Mail Tamar started a family war when went behind her sisters backs to get on DWTS despite her sister Towanda's efforts to get on the show for the past two years.
Apparently the sisters found out the same time as everyone else, when Tamar made the surprise announcement on Good Morning America.
Adding insult to injury Tamar blocked her sisters from filling in for her on her daytime talk show The Real while she was competing.
The family source also tells The Daily Mail Tamar and Toni are no longer close because Tamar took great pleasure in rubbing the success of her album 'Love and War' in Toni's face while Toni was frustrated with the industry and contemplating retirement.
