Last year popstar Beyonce was sued by a singer / songwriter claiming she stole his song for her hit single XO [click here if you missed that].
A judge did NOT agree…
The court ruled in Beyonce's favor yesterday on the grounds that Ahmad Javon Lane's song “XOXO,” was way more raunchy than Beyonce's 'XO' and therefore were not the same.
Ahamd claims he gave a copy of his song to one of Beyonce's background dancers. He was seeking $7 million in damages.
