Lil Wayne Ordered to Cough Up Dough for Leased Jet
Rapper Lil Wayne ordered to pay $2 million after falling behind on his private jet lease…
New Orleans rapper Lil Wayne is grounded after a judge orders him to pay $2,003,200 to the owners of a Gulfstream II private jet he was leasing.
According to Gossip Extra Lil Wayne agreed to pay $55,000 a month for the lease, maintenance fees of $1,980 an hour with a 30-hour per month minimum, $500 per landing, plus fuel and other expenses.
The owners claim Weezy signed a 36 month lease in 2013 and everything was fine until he abruptly stopped paying one year later.
Weezy was able to convince the owners to allow to him keep flying through the end of 2014 when they finally cut him off.
