Mariah Carey is turning her classic Christmas song 'All I Want for Christmas is You' into a children's book…
Mariah made the announcement earlier this week telling People mag,
"When I wrote All I Want For Christmas Is You it was my dream for it to become a classic Christmas song. I am so proud of the song's impact as it continues to create memories for fans each year."
"I am thrilled to be able to bring the story of the song to new generations of families with the picture book."The book, which features the lyrics from Mariah's hit single, is about a little girl's Christmas wish for a new puppy.
All I Want for Christmas is You is due in bookstores on November 10th.
Fun Fact: Last year Mariah Carey's ex-husband Nick Cannon released a Christmas themed children's book called 'Roc and Roe's 12 Days of Christmas' inspired by the former couple's twins Moroccan and Monroe.
