Yesterday New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith got his jaw broken during a training camp fight with backup linebacker IK Enemkpali, putting Geno on the sidelines for the next ten weeks.
Training camp fights are pretty common, putting the star quarterback out of the game is not. So what caused IK to go off…?
Money.
Apparently IK hosted charity football camp in TX last month and Geno was scheduled to appear.
IK even had Geno's face on the flyer and spent $600 on an airline ticket and limo but Geno didn't show up.
Once they got to camp Ik confronted Geno and according to several witnesses sucker punched the quarterback in the face.
IK Enemkpali was immediately released from the team.
