Earlier this week there was a bit of controversy after the originator of the annual R&B pre-Grammy party where Whitney Houston last performed accused singer Kelly Price of hi-jacking his event and going on with the show despite pleas to cancel out of respect for Bobbi Kristina Brown [click here if you missed that].

Eyewitness reveal Kelly opened by the show by telling the crowd,
“Bobbi Kristina is in the hospital and her condition is very serious and I will say this one thing and this one thing only: Please continue to pray for her as she fights for her life. She is a young woman who deserves a chance to live and to thrive and experience the greatness that is inside of her and come into her own… I will ask you all to say a prayer. If prayer is not your thing, send love. Send your love and well wishes to the entire family.”Kelly and Faith Evans then sang a duet of Kelly's hit with Whitney Houston 'Heartbreak Hotel'.
