Ledisi fans are up in arms after it was announced that Beyonce would sing ‘Precious Lord, Take My Hand,’ in tribute to the film 'Selma' despite that fact Ledisi actually sings the song in the film and on the soundtrack.
Ledisi portrayed Mahalia Jackson in the movie and sang the song to David Oyelowo, who plays Martin Luther King, Jr.
Ledisi and Beyonce are both nominated for Grammys for Best R&B Performance, Beyonce for ‘Drunk in Love’ and Ledesi for ‘Like This.’
