Empire writer and director Lee Daniels relayed the incident of how his father beat him severely and dumped him into the trash for wearing his mother's shoes in front of his cop father's police officer buddies during their weekly card game in an interview last year with Larry King.
Daniels admitted the beating didn't stop him and that he came downstairs the next Sunday wearing his mother's shoes and this time carrying her purse.
