Late 80s Rapper Cool C granted a stay of execution one day before D-Day…
Rapper Cool C, who was scheduled to be put to death today [January 8, 2015] by lethal injection was granted a second stay of execution.
Cool C was convicted of killing a Black female police officer during a botched Philadelphia bank heist back in 1996 and was first scheduled to die in 2006 but was granted a stay of execution.
A second death warrant was signed by the Governor in November 2014, but Cool C was granted a second stay on Wednesday January 7, 2015.
