Lifetime announced yesterday their Whitney Houston biopic, 'Whitney', will premier Saturday January 17, 2015.
Starring YaYa DeCosta as Whitney Houston, the film will focus on Whitney Houston's controversial marriage to Bobby Brown.
Unlike their widely panned Aaliayh biopic, Lifetime managed to secure music rights for some of Whitney Houston's greatest hits including, “The Greatest Love of All,” “I'm Every Woman” and “I Will Always Love You,” albeit re-recorded by Deborah Cox.
