According to reports Geoffrey Holder died on Sunday in New York due to complications of pneumonia.
Among his many accomplishments, Holder won two Tony Awards in 1975 for his costume designs for The Wiz and his choreogragy has been featured by Alvin Ailey. Holder was also a highly regarded photographer, sculptor and painter.
