Sources tell TMZ Nicki and Safaree broke up because he was tired of being in her shadow and eager to kick off his own rap career. The problem is Nicki and Safaree made a pact that Nicki would be the star and ScafBeezy would stay in the background.
Apparently their problems came to a head after Safaree skipped a show in protest leaving Nicki scrambling to find a last minute replacement.
