The devoted parents of twin toddlers Moroccan and Monroe have already struck a deal to share parenting of the three-year-olds, better known as Roc and Roe. And they have also reached a financial settlement over their joint fortune of almost £325 million.
However, the couple cannot agree who should end up with their pampered pooches named The Good Reverend Pow Jackson, Mutley P Gore Jackson The Third, Jill E Beans, Pipitty Jackson, Cha, Jackie Lambchops, JJ and Squeak E Beans.
All eight are Jack Russell Terriers and diva Mariah, 44, whose hits include the 2005 single We Belong Together, has insisted in court papers that she should have custody of every one.
A legal source close to the case declared: “The dog issue is a real stumbling block in negotiations between both their sets of attorneys, with Mariah insisting she doesn’t want to split the pets up.”
The source said that the dogs were the only sticking point.
“There is no animosity over their kids or their fortunes.
