Earlier this week rapper Maino was arrested on assault charges after he was accused of attacking adult film star Mellanie Monroe inside his SUV outside a nightclub in New York's meat packing district [click here if you missed that].

Sources tell Page Six
[Mellanie] got in Maino’s car because he offered her a ride, but that he then wanted more. When Monroe refused, he allegedly attacked, and his goons later jumped her. The sources add that the two have previously “texted each other,” but weren’t close before the incident.
