Back in February there were rumors Cee Lo Green quit The Voice because he was about to be fired [click here if you missed that].
In a new interview Cee Lo explains why he really left…
Cee Lo Green tells Us Weekly
"It easily and quickly became a job. Very, very obligating ...Taxing and tiring ...I still tip my hat to Adam [Levine] and Blake [Shelton] and those guys who continuously do it, but I think I ran my course there just naturally."
"Amicably, we parted ways...I've got some very great memories there. It really has everything to do with me having the leverage to go elsewhere and be a success as well."Cee Lo and his Goodie Mob compadres Big Gipp, Khujo and T-Mo are currently starring in Cee Lo Green's The Good Life a reality show airing Monday nights at 10:30 on TBS.
