Last week Stevie J was arrested at his home in Atlanta after failing to appear in court to face accusations of owing $1.2 million in back child support [click here if you missed that].
Meanwhile TMZ has uncovered documents issued by the state of New York informing Stevie J they now have the power to seize any property he owns to satisfy his child support debt.
Sounds good on paper but just last week Stevie J was exposed on Love and Hip Hop Atlanta for renting his mansion and leasing his cars, but now we know why.
Stevie J has known the State of New York would be coming after his assets since 2011.
