Devar Hurd, who served two years in prison for stalking Ashanti, has been granted the right to represent himself in court for his new case.
Devar is facing 10 counts, including criminal contempt and felony stalking, after bombarding Ashanti on Twitter with sexually suggestive messages, in violation of his no-contact order.
Devar insists his restrictions only covered texts and emails, not Twitter.
