After 18 years Prince returns to Warner Bros records just in time for the 30th anniversary of his ground breaking film and soundtrack Purple Rain.
According to Billboard in the new deal with Warner Bros. Prince regains ownership of his catalog and will release a new album along with the remastered version of Purple Rain.
"Dirty Mind," "Controversy," and "1999" will continue to be licensed through Warner Bros.
