Last month actor Columbus Short was charged with felony aggravated battery after sucker punching a fellow party goer at an engagement party in L.A. [click here if you missed that].
According to TMZ Columbus has been ordered to stay away from the victim.
The restraining order was requested by the court, not the man in question.
The victim does not wish to prosecute but is seeking a civil settlement instead.
