Last week a Los Angeles judge signed an order to transfer Chris Brown to Washington, D.C., for his upcoming misdemeanor assault trial [click

Chris Brown's attorney has filed to block the transfer...
Chris Brown's lead attorney Mark Geragos filed for the block on the grounds that a transfer by U.S. Marshall would prevent Chris from conferring with his counsel in preparation for his trail.
In the motion Geragos requested Chris be released into his custody.
A hearing has been scheduled for Thursday.
