After confirming her long-term relationship with Amber Laign for the first time, Live on Good Morning America on Jan. 6, Robin Roberts gushed that she’s “never been happier or healthier.” And now Star can reveal that the morning show host was hinting at a life-changing decision: the couple are trying to have a baby!
According to sources close to the pair of 10 years, Robin, 53, who was treated for the bone marrow disease myelodysplastic syndrome in 2012, finally feels free to plan ahead – which includes pursuing her dream of becoming a mom.
“Robin says getting sick was the best thing that ever happened to her, because she got a second chance at life,” explains a pal. “She wants to make the most of it.”
The two have already found a sperm donor and have decided that massage therapist Amber, who turns 40 this year, will carry the baby.
