According to reports Rick Ross is suing LMFAO over their 2010 smash hit single 'Party Rock Anthem' claiming their use of the phrase 'Everyday I'm Shuffling' is a blatant rip-off of 'Everyday I'm Hustling' from Rick Ross' 2006 single 'Hustlin' off his debut album Port of Miami.
Rick Ross contends LMFAO's single would not have been a monster hit without the unauthorized use of his hook.
Party Rock Anthem sold over 7 million copies and has been used in movie soundtracks and commercials.
Rick Ross is seeking an injunction and maximum statutory damages.
