Back in 2012 singer Robert Poindexter filed a $500k lawsuit against Kanye West for sampling his record 'Trying Out Girls' on a remix without his permission [click here if you missed that].
Welp Robert is out of luck...
According to Radar Online Robert Poindexter's lawsuit was just dismissed without prejudice for failure to prosecute because he couldn't find Kanye to serve him with the papers.
Poindexter was a member of the 70s soul band The Persuaders.
