Before Jennifer Hudson was a big big star she used to sing on cruise ships to make ends meet.
Now Jen is returning to the sea....
Jennifer Hudson just signed a deal to headline a concert series on Carnival Cruise Lines called Carnival Live.
Jennifer is scheduled to perform June 18 and June 19 on Carnival Breeze in Cozumel Mexico.
In a press conference announcing the partnership Jennifer explains,
"I used to work on a cruise ship, a long time ago. That's what I did before I did 'American Idol. It's like a full circle."
