Back in 2008 Steve Harvey's ex wife Mary accused him of physically abusing their teenage son [click here if you missed that].
No charges were ever filed but Mary was just arrested for bringing the case back up in the media...
Last week Mediatakeout posted court docs from the 2008 case landing Mary in jail for violating the gag order concerning her divorce from Steve Harvey.
After the story ran Mary was thrown in jail for 30 days.
Mary tells her side of the story to Fox 4 in Dallas,
"I didn't violate any court orders. This is about ‘You're not supposed to be talking to anybody about your divorce.' That's what they're saying. I'm like, this is America."
"I'm just a mother who wants to have access to my son without interference. I'm tired of getting pulled down to McKinney courthouse every time I say ‘Boo.' I'm not going to be silenced."
