Earlier this year Will.I.Am filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against Pharrell Williams claiming Pharrell's I Am Other brand violated Will's I.Am copy right [click here if you missed that].
Pharrell calls Will.I.Am's lawsuit baseless...
According to TMZ Pharrell argued in court that Will.I.Am is not nearly as well known as he so there's no danger of anyone confusing their two brands. Ouch.
Pharrell also pointed out the long list of copyright infringement lawsuits filed against Will.I.Am including some for stealing beats.
Pharrell wants the case thrown out plus legal fees.
A ruling is still pending.
