Last year Rihanna filed a multimillion dollar lawsuit against her former financial advisers, Berdon LL, claiming they owed her millions of dollars [click here if you missed that].
Since then Rihanna has missed every single deposition in the case including the latest one set up in London for her convenience.
Rihanna backed out of the London meeting just hours before it began claiming she was sick, and she probably would have gotten away with it, but lawyers for Berdon LL produced a Tweet from Rihanna at 5am London time, right after the Miami Heat won the NBA national championship, that said #KingJames. Oops.
The judge in the case ordered Rihanna to pay her former accountants $100,000 to cover their travel costs and billing hours.
A new date has been set for a deposition in August and if Riri doesn't show up she risks having her case dismissed.
