The W in Times Square debuted the renovated Extreme Wow Suite Thursday night with sets from Solange Knowles and a performance by Cam’ron. After Solange performed a set, singing R. Kelly’s “Ignition” remix, the room became so crammed a pillow fight broke out.
Solange threw the first “punch” about 1:30 a.m., hitting Cam’ron with a pillow, and feathers quickly were flying everywhere. “Hotel security had to step in because those pillows are very expensive,” says our spy. “Cam’ron’s performance also caused the room to vibrate from the bass, which didn’t thrill guests staying below.”
