Pop star Katy Perry took to Twitter to quiz her friend on why she wasn’t asked to party with pal Rihanna when she was in Los Angeles at the weekend.
The We Found Love singer Tweeted she was in fact in Miami – not LA – when she was caught on camera throwing cash at a stripper and slapping the exotic dancer’s derriere.
However, she promised Russell Brand’s ex-wife that she’d make it up to her.
The two chart rivals are apparently best friends again after falling out over Rihanna’s reunion with Chris Brown.
It’s thought Katy’s disapproval of Rihanna’s decision to get back together with Brown –who infamously assaulted the star in 2009 – drove a wedge between them.
Speaking about Rihanna, Katy recently said: "I think she is doing fine. I don't know. Her personal life has probably already been blown out of proportion.
“I don't really have to go into that. I'm sure she probably wants a break.”
