Public Enemy is only the fourth rap group to be inducted joining Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Run DMC and The Beastie Boys.
Queen of Disco Donnna Summer will also been inducted on the April 18th ceremony.
This is the first year fans were allowed to cast votes.
