Meek Mill Shut Down
What good is having a number one rap album if you can't go on tour to promote it?
A judge ruled yesterday not to lift the travel ban placed on Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill under the terms of his probation...
Meek Mill was arrested on gun and drug charges back in 2007 and later sentenced to 11 to 23 months in prison and five years probation.
Back then Meek was just regular Robert Williams from the block but now the terms of his probation is costing him tons of money.
Meek Mill was scheduled to appear on The Conan O'Brien Show in Los Angeles and begin a tour of Africa to promote his top selling debut album Dreams and Nightmares but that's all but put on hold.
Yesterday the judge in Meek's case denied his request to lift a ban on travel for concert and other related appearances.
Meek's probation ends in about three years.
