Tyler Perry is being sued by a writer claiming he stole her plot for his film 'Good Deeds...'
Author Terri Donald, who writes under the pseudonym TLO Red'ness, claims she sent Tyler Perry a copy of her book "Bad Apples Can Be Good Fruit" well before Tyler began production on Good Deeds.
Terri is seeking an accounting of the film's revenue and $225,000 in initial damages. She also wants her name added to the opening and closing credits.
Neither Tyler Perry nor Lionsgate, who is also named in the suit, have responded to the claims.
Good Deeds pulled in $35 million at the box office.
