Turns out Tyler is doing more than just providing content, he also has an equity stake in OWN...
Financial details from the OWN deal have not been made public but is being described as a multi-year deal.
Tyler Perry was in talks to launch his own network, 'Tyler TV', with Lionsgate last year [click here if you missed that] but those plans have been scrapped now that Tyler has partnered with Oprah.
Tyler's programming will occupy two nights of prime time each week on OWN.
