Alicia Keys performed her shortest concert ever on Tuesday, ticking off fans and fashion bigwigs who had turned up at Target’s 50th-anniversary party in a Chelsea space festooned with the store’s color and logo. Witnesses said the singer leapt onstage, much to the delight of a crowd that included Naomi Watts, Shaun White, Tony Bennett and the Target dog, Bullseye. “It’s such an honor to be here,” Keys said, before launching into her rendition of “Happy Birthday.” She then abruptly left without performing anything from her own catalogue. Guests beelined to the doors in disappointment.
