On the opening night of the Broadway run of Mike Tyson's one man play "Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth", Mike Tyson gave a couple of shout outs to celebrities in the audience: 50 Cent and Sean "Puffy" Combs.
Only Puffy wasn't in the house. It was Kanye West...
From The New York Daily News ,
MIKE TYSON’S first show on Broadway brought out some hip-hop heavyweights, but the pugilist may have gotten his rappers mixed up. Kanye West, catching his second show on the Great White Way in as many nights, and 50 Cent were among those who came out to see “Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth” Tuesday at the Longacre Theatre. But Tyson, according to a theater source, gave shoutouts to Fitty and “Puffy” — not Kanye — despite the fact Diddy was nowhere to be found. Tyson also worked a shot at Fitty, a former drug dealer from Queens, into the show. As he talked about his past substance abuse, Tyson blurted out, “You know cocaine, right 50?” Afterward, Fitty and West headed backstage to talk with Tyson as well as the play’s producer and director, Spike Lee, who appeared nervous for his Broadway debut, adds our source.
