Angela wrote that Phaedra called her mother, a respected preacher, who gave them the ingredients for a concoction that would induce a miscarriage, but ultimately didn't work.
Phaedra's mother is suing Vibe Holdings for $6 million and demanding a retraction.
Phaedra is also suing Vibe for revelations made in the book that she ran a stolen car ring and insurance fraud scams. Phaedra is seeking $30 million.
