Yesterday Jay Z held a press conference in Philadelphia announcing his two-day Made in America concert series.
Right after the press conference the Internet started buzzing when this picture of Jay Z standing next to Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter and other city officials began to circulate showing Philly rapper Freeway standing off to one side with the ice grill looking like he crashed the party.
Apparently the looks are deceiving.
Now if it was Beanie Sigel? Totally different story...

Hov personally invited Freeway to appear at the press conference with him and that the two spoke both before and after the event.
The speculation of stage crashing is totally false. From the jump, Free was fully aware he would not be taking press photos with Jay and Philly’s politicians.
The rapper’s past drug felony drug charge is the sole reason for this. According to a source, Jay-Z and Freeway remain close friends to this day.
