According to Shadow and Act Imprint Entertainment has optioned the rights to the book and have hired Eunetta Boone to write the screenplay.
Shadow & Act also quotes Pam saying she wants Halle Berry for the starring role.
All I know is, if Halle accepts this part Aretha Franklin is going go ballistic. Aretha has been lobbying for years to get Halle Berry to star in her bio-pic to the point of forcing Halle to have to publicly decline [click here if you missed that].
