Tupac returned from the dead in hologram form to perform his hits 'Ain't Nothing But a Gangsta Party' and 'Hail Mary' closing out the first weekend of the 2012 Coachella Music Festival [click here if you missed that].
Virtual Tupac got such an overwhelming response at Coachella and online that insiders say Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg are already planning a tour and are trying to decide between a stadium tour featuring Hologram Tupac and other rap super stars or a smaller scale tour with just Dre. Snoop and Virtual Pac.
The makers of the Tupac hologram, Digital Domain, call the task one of their most difficult explaining,
"To create a completely synthetic human being is the most complicated thing that can be done.This is not found footage. This is not archival footage. This is an illusion".
