It's taken nearly three years but The Los Angeles Police Department is finally closing in on who sold the picture of Rihanna's battered face to TMZ...
Back in 2009 photos documenting the brutal beating Rihanna received from Chris Brown were supposed to be sealed and entered into evidence but later turned up on celebrity news site TMZ.
LAPD already had a pretty good idea who did it. Rebbecca Reyes and Blanca Lopez had both been placed on paid administrative leave 30 months ago when they were first suspected of leaking the photograph.
Rebbecca, who had been assigned to the case and rookie cop Blanca [who was not assigned to the case] were roommates.
Both are now considered the prime suspects and are facing termination if proven responsible.
