Political correspondent Roland Martin was famously suspended from CNN for homophobic Tweets he made during the Superbowl [click here if you missed that].
Roland later apologized to Gay and Lesbian organization GLADD and agreed to meet with them to open a dialogue [click here if you missed that] but his apology did not effect his standing with CNN until now.
According to Fishbowl DC CNN staffers were notified yesterday by conference call that the ban on Roland had been lifted.
