On Oscar night Diddy declared himself an Oscar winner after 'The Undefeated', on which he has an executive producing credit, won for Best Documentary.
The next day, while other media outlets were congratulating Diddy on his win, we gently explained how Diddy hadn't actually won anything and was just being his usual braggadocios self [click here if you missed that].
Diddy concedes we were right...
Yesterday Diddy admitted on The Today Show,
"T.J. and Daniel are technically the directors of the film. They are technically the winners. I'm like the Martin Scorsese Jr., the executive producer. Everybody just ran with it. I'm like -- I'm the Oscar winner but these young talented entrepreneurial directors, shoutout to them. They are the ones that -- They are the guys."
