For weeks before Bobbi Kristina's interview on Oprah's Next Chapter, TV promos led viewers to believe that Bobbi Kris and Oprah would be conducting a full on one on one.
The night the interview aired people were shocked that Bobbi's segment was so short that she and Oprah didn't even sit down.
Oprah explains why she and Bobbi Kristina didn't get a chance to sit and how the interview almost didn't happen at all...
Oprah tells Extra's AJ Calloway,
“This is what people don’t know. The truth is I can tell you now.
I was on the plane leaving New York. The producer, just as I’m ready to take off, says we can’t find Bobbi Kristina. We don’t know where she is and we don’t know if she’s going to do an interview. And I said well I’m leaving right now. I’m on the plane. I’m on the tarmac. By the time I land I’m hoping you would have found her.
And then when I saw her the reason I didn’t sit down is because I was told that she didn’t really want to sit down and not sure whether she’s going to really talk for a long time so I just used that moment. I used that moment.“
