According to a source at the CIROC Vodka and Fiji Water Pre-Oscars party at Beso that same evening, it didn’t keep the 42-year-old actor from being in “high spirits” with his date for the evening, who multiple sources can confirm and we can exclusively identify as actress Erica Taylor.
The fellow guest tells us Howard never left Taylor’s side. “When she went somewhere, so did he,” says the insider, who added that the couple held hands almost the entire night, and that the “Skin Deep” actress was by Howard’s side while he chatted away with Eva Longoria, who was there with her own beau, Eduardo Cruz.
The source even adds that while the “Hustle & Flow” actor first declined photos with the California native on the red carpet, instead opting to pose alone and with Longoria, he eventually relented outside the venue for snaps with the model, even kissing her at one point. The insider adds that Howard didn’t seem to be “worried at all” about his blow in court earlier that day. “He was the same old (Terrence) as usual” and “in a great mood.”
