After Heavy D died suddenly in November, before any autopsy reports were complete, there were rumors, fueled by Heavy D's family, that pneumonia may have played a part in his demise [click here if you missed that].
It did not.
The final autopsy report has been filed and the cause of death was a pulmonary embolism...
The coroner's report found Heavy D's death was caused by a blood clot in his lung. The report also states Hev suffered from deep leg vein thrombosis and heart disease.
According to the report the clot was "most likely formed during an extended airplane ride."
Heavy had recently returned from the Michael Jackson tribute concert in London.
The toxicology report found no presence of illegal drugs.
