Simon Cowell is planning to shake things up by making changes on X Factor UK and sources claim Kelly Rowland is threatening to quit if he goes through with it...
From The Daily Mail
Kelly Rowland has vowed to quit the X Factor if she has to give up her beloved girls in a dramatic shake-up of the show.
Simon Cowell is reportedly planning to make the judges swap acts, meaning the former Destiny's Child singer will have to stop mentoring Misha B and Irish teenager Janet Devlin.
Programme bosses are hoping to inject the latest twist to boost ratings.
The shake-up would mean Kelly's rival Tulisa Contostavlos will have to surrender groups Little Mix, and The Risk boys, to another judge.
Gary Barlow will give up Marcus Collins, Frankie Cocozza and Craig Colton while Louis Walsh would say goodbye to Kitty Brucknell and Johnny Robinson.
But Kelly reportedly isn't having it.
'I don't want anybody touching my girls,' she said back stage, The Sun reported.
'I'm not giving Misha and Janet up for anyone. I'd walk before I gave them up.
'Everybody is doing such a good job mentoring their acts, I don't know why they'd do that.'
The show has seen viewing figures drop by 3.5million since the departure of Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole last year.
A source had earlier told told The Sun that executives are 'paralysed by fear' that BBC rival Strictly Come Dancing will continue to beat The X Factor in the ratings.
