Actor Gary Dourdan was arrested last week for domestic violence against his ex-girlfriend [click here if you missed that].
Gary's ex filed a restraining order and with that comes details from the assault...

Nicole Vail Cannizzaro claims in documents, obtained by TMZ, she had broken up with Dourdan in May "due to his excessive drug use, which only worsened after cutting off communication with him."
Nicole claims Gary put recording devices in her home and attempted to break in. She says Sunday night he punched her in the face and broke her nose. Nicole says she ran to the back alley, where a neighbor called 911. Gary was arrested for felony battery but bailed out.
Nicole is asking that Gary stay 100 yards away from her and her 2 dogs, Charlie and Chanel.
A hearing for the restraining order is set for later this month. Nicole apparently got an emergency protective order from the cops, but it expires next week.
A call to Dourdan's rep was not immediately returned.
