Greensboro Coliseum Complex officials said Rick Ross, the rapper who suffered two seizures on Friday, did not perform at the 85th Annual NC A&T homecoming concert Saturday night due to health issues.
Spokesman Andrew Brown said the Coliseum received word of the cancellation around 6:45 p.m. The concert, which headlined Ross among other performers such as DJ Khaled, Marsha Ambrosius, and Meek Mill, was set to begin at 7:30 p.m.
Brown said the rapper cited health issues in regards to the decision not to perform.
Rick Ross shot this video on his second flight on Friday before his second while trying to reach a concert in Memphis. The flight was forced to make an emergency landing after Rick suffered his second mid air seizure of the day.
