T.I. broke a personal record when he ended up back in Federal custody just hours after being released to a halfway house after serving just under a year in prison for violating probation [click here if you missed that].
When T.I. was first taken back into custody it was reported that the reason he was being detained was because he'd used unauthorized transportation.
Turns out it wasn't the high end tour bus that got T.I. in trouble. It was who was on the high in tour bus that got T.I. in trouble...
Apparently the only person authorized to accompany T.I. on his trip from prison to the half-way house was his wife Tiny. T.I. was also forbidden from conducting any business during the three hour trip.
Somebody should have told that to VH1 because they had producers and camera crew on the bus filming the entire thing and that's why T.I. is back in jail.
The official reason: “unauthorized contact with the public”
