Lil Boosie Picks Up Second Smuggling Charge

Baton Rogue rapper Lil Boosie caught trying to smuggle codeine into prison again...

From The Advocate
Accused killer Torrence “Lil Boosie” Hatch was indicted Thursday and is accused of trying to smuggle drugs into a second state prison.

This time, the 28-year-old Baton Rouge rapper is accused of trying to get codeine into the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola.

Hatch, who is serving time on an unrelated drug charge, already is under indictment on a charge of conspiring to introduce illegal drugs into Dixon Correctional Institute at Jackson.

Hatch also is awaiting trial on a first-degree murder charge. The East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney’s Office has not decided whether to seek the death penalty against Hatch in the murder case.
